Are shrimp shells safe for dogs?
Shrimp are small shellfish, often sold with the shells and tails still on. The shells and tails are a choking and blockage risk, so they should always be removed. Plain, fully cooked, peeled shrimp meat is fine as an occasional treat, though some dogs are allergic to shellfish.
