Is cabbage safe for cats?
Cabbage is a leafy vegetable with tightly packed layers. Plain cabbage is not toxic to cats, but it can cause gas and they do not need it. Cats are obligate carnivores, so they get what they need from meat and never need cabbage. If you offer it at all, treat it as a rare, tiny extra.
