Pork bones come raw or cooked, from ribs, chops and other cuts. Pork bones, whether raw or cooked, can splinter and cause choking, mouth and gut injuries or blockage, so they are best avoided.

- Keep pork bones out of reach, including in the trash
- Choose vet-approved chew toys or dental chews instead
- If your cat swallowed a piece, call your vet, especially if there is vomiting or pain

How many pork bones can my cat have?
There is no amount of pork bones that we can recommend for cats. Skip them entirely.
